Let's play a game.
We'll call it "Which of these thing don't belong together?"
Dress shirts
Socks
Fleece vest
A Sheet
Underwear
Bathing suit
Tshirts
The answer? None of them belong together. None.
When you're doing laundry, you create piles. You sort. You don't just take everything in your hamper and dump it in together. They dry at different times. They wash at different settings. They have different textures. Some are dirtier than others.
The worst? I stayed up an extra 30 minutes to help move these from washer to dryer.
The conversation.
"I'm doing laundry. Just the stuff I need for tomorrow."
Unless we have something going on that I don't know of, you will not need your bathing suit or a sheet for tomorrow (fitted, not flat).
Frustrated!!
Reminds me of that Friends episode where Monica says "now I have to live with a boyyyyyyy!" in hysterical tears.
Can I also talk about the tie I found in the garbage earlier today? Most likely fell from the dresser since I can't imagine what would possess one to throw a tie away that wasn't noticeably ruined in some way.
Oh my dear husband. I guess if you were perfect, you'd be like every other guy, and where's the fun and spontaneity in that?
woah-woah-woah--- where are all these perfect guys you speak of?!?
ReplyDeletehaha- you are just like my roommate doing laundry. too many steps for me- I do whites, lights, and darks. And that's it!! Most of my stuff gets clean :) (I hope at least!)
